My makeup stash and smokey eye look

So today I wanted to show you my makeup stash and a smokey eye look that I did based on a YouTube tutorial. I have finally organised my makeup stash in a 3-drawer organiser I got from Officeworks. I've also chucked out old makeup I haven't used in ages. So here is some photos of my makeup stash:

In my top drawer I've got my face products: primer, foundation, blushes (I've got quite a few XD), bronzer and highlighter.
In the middle drawer, I've got all my eye products. And as you can see I've got maybe just a tad bit too much eyeshadows. Most of them are MAC eyeshadows but there are some other brands as well. And they're a combination of pressed eyeshadows, pigments, cream eyeshadows and also my eyeliners MAC fluidline.
And lastly, in my bottom drawer I've got more eyeshadows that are in a palette. I've bought a MAC empty palette of 15 shadows which I've put my depotted eyeshadows in. I haven't fully completed the 15 empty pots though. I'll put some photos of the palette up next time. I've also got my Urban Decay Naked Palette which I absolutely love!! I use it pretty much everyday.

Anyway, talking about the Naked Palette, I saw a Youtube video by a Canberra girl of a smokey eye makeup tutorial using the Naked Palette 2. I decided to try this look but using the the first naked palette, using similar colours. Here is the link of the tutorial: http://youtu.be/orZn_ovoavc

With this look I used the colour Virgin (a shimmery light beige) in the inner corner and first half of the lid. Then I used the shade gunmetal (silvery grey) on the lid from the middle to the outer half and blend it with the first colour up to the crease. I then line my eyes with MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack and applied Creep (black shimmery eyeshadow) over the eyeliner. Then I used a pencil brush to smudge it out and bring it up to the crease and create an outer "v". I then used a fluffy blending brush (MAC 217) and added a mix of gunmetal and creep and blended the crease further to deepen the look. Then to finish off, I put on mascara and used a bit of Sin (matte beige highlight colour) on to the brow bones to add a bit of highlight.  And below is the finished look!

Let me know what you think!!
